| Description: | Enhances the quality of life for our members by consistently meeting or exceeding their service expectations. Provides high quality service, defined as ensuring prompt and accurate loan processing and fund disbursements while identifying and recommending additional member benefit needs in a professional manner.
Prepares loan applications for credit approval and disburses approved loans. Responsible for preparing all documents necessary to close consumer-related account loans. Delivers loan paperwork, distributes loans to branches, and coordinates closings with branch personnel. Reviews, documents, and finalizes loan closing for indirect loans initiated at all approved indirect point-of-sale locations. Communicates with related-team member and applicants to explain credit decisions and to obtain additional loan information and documentation. Prepares application and presents loan requests to lenders for loan decisions.

| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Supports the mission of the Credit Union by enhancing the quality of life for our members.
•Ensures that all members’ needs are identified and the appropriate referrals or sales match the Credit Union’s services and products including, types of available accounts, special promotions, loan and deposit products, account convenience options and other related services and information.
•Maintains a product knowledge level that supports a needs-based referral and selling program. Actively listen to members to identify needs and cross-sell accordingly.
•Responsible for the effective performance of loan interviews and clerical support for all phases of the loan processing activities and promotions.
o Prepares paperwork for loan applications. Runs reports, retrieves credit ratings, reviews files, figures debt ratios and works up applications.
o Presents and explains Credit Union services and products to members and assists in meeting their financial needs. Opens and closes accounts. Completes payroll deductions and authorization forms, ACH debits, wires and collection items and accurately completes paperwork associated with each.
o Effectively interview loan applicants, calculate figures, verify information, seek cross-sell opportunities, complete applications, and process loans.
oGenerate and complete analysis on credit reports including facilitating score enhancement for the members.
o Follows-up with applicants to obtain personal and financial data to complete loan applications for presentment to loan officers.
o Contacts credit bureaus, employers, former creditors and personal references by telephone, direct computer access or letter to check credit and personal references to verify credit worthiness and accuracy of credit information.
o Prepares all necessary documents for closing of consumer loans.
o Accurately and promptly processes and funds indirect contracts.
o Coordinates loan closings with branches and closes loans as necessary.
o Notifies applicants by mail, telephone, or in person of acceptance or denial of application and prepares proper documentation.
o Receives, screens and relays telephone calls and messages. Answers routine questions or directs them to the appropriate personnel.
o Completes loan-processing duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.
o Maintain an acceptable follow up procedure for loans in the processing queues.
o Have knowledge of title work procedures to perfect lien status.
o Accurately and actively use the sell macros to track cross-sell efforts and/or any other tracking device that has been established by the credit union.
o Participate in credit union marketing programs and regular business directives to ensure the credit union meets its goals.
•Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business relationships with members and external contacts.
o Resolves (or refers) requests and problems promptly and courteously. Answers member questions pertaining to promotions, loans, balances, and payoffs.
o Ensures that Indirect Dealer questions are handled promptly and professionally.
o Ensures that members’ requests and questions are promptly acknowledged and resolved.
o Maintains privacy of member account information.
o Ensures that the Credit Union’s quality reputation is maintained and projected.
•Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with area personnel and management.
o Completes assigned paperwork for Consumer Loan Manager and Loan Officers.
o Completes records and reports promptly and accurately.
o Supports and assist personnel as needed.
o Attends and participates in meetings as required.
o Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
•Responsible for related duties as required or assigned.
o Performs miscellaneous clerical functions as needed.
o Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
o Performs duties of area personnel as needed.
o Actively and professionally cross-sells Credit Union services.

• Ensures that good working relationships and coordination exist with members, team members and management. Problems and questions are courteously and promptly resolved or referred. Assistance and support are provided as needed. Management is properly informed.
• Ensures the Credit Union’s professional reputation is maintained and conveyed.

| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Required Knowledge: Applied knowledge of sales.
Experience Required: Six or more months of successful sales experience is required.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills.
Maintains a professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
Good math skills.
Must enjoy sales.
Ability to operate related computer applications and business-related equipment.
Good typing skills.
Able and willing to work in a fast paced environment and to work flexible hours as needed.
